Get Ready For The Double Flip!

“Get ready for the double flip!” Hearing these words could cause all sorts of images to appear in our minds such as a gymnast performing his or her competitive routine. While finishing my non-athletic daily routine on April 29, 2023, I heard two additional sentences in the Spirit,

“The switch will be flipped,” followed by, “The script will be flipped.”

Switches & Scripts.

Some of the meanings for the verb form of the word switch include to turn over with a sudden quick movement; to toss or put in motion with a sudden impulse, as with a snap of a finger and thumb, especially so as to cause to turn over in the air such as in flipping a coin; or to move (something) suddenly or jerkily. (www.dictionary.com)

The noun form of the word script includes the text of a manuscript or document which is the actual wording or anything written or printed. (www.dictionary.com) Also, a script can be a plan of action according to merriam-webster.com.

Thirdly, the Lord impressed upon me that the switch will be flipped before the script will be flipped. The switch is directly tied to the script.

The Number 29, Departure, and Mountains.

Prophetic symbolism for the number twenty-nine (I received this message on April 29, 2023) includes departure and mountains.

According to fellow Christian and author, Troy Brewer, mountains are associated with this number since there are twenty-nine of them mentioned in the Bible.1

Positive aspects of mountains represent God and hearing the voice of God (Moses on Mt. Sinai in Exodus 31:18); meeting place with God and His presence; heaven; place of prayer, worship, and transformation; separation unto God; possibilities; miracles, and triumphs.

Negative connotations are doubt and unbelief; obstacles; hardships; pride; impossibilities; and idolatry.

Biblical Examples Of The Double Flip.

***** When Pharoah pursued Israel to the Red Sea, he thought he had the Israelites firmly caught in his trap since their backs were against the wall, and there was no escape route.

Suddenly, God flipped the supernatural switch, so to speak, which flipped the script. (Exodus 14:1-29)

“So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.” (Exodus 14:30-31)

***** The phony governors and satraps sought to cook up a scheme against God-fearing and faultless Daniel since he was unwilling to pray to anyone except God. His choice landed him in the lion’s den which was the punishment decreed by King Darius.

Suddenly, God flipped the supernatural switch. (Daniel 6:1-20)

“Then Daniel said to the king, ‘O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.’

“Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.” (Daniel 6:21-23)

Here’s a stellar example of flipping the script after the switch had been flipped:

“Then King Darius wrote:

To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth:

Peace be multiplied to you.

I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel.

For He is the living God,
And steadfast forever;
His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed,
And His dominion shall endure to the end.
He delivers and rescues,
And He works signs and wonders
In heaven and on earth,
Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.” (Daniel 6:25-27)

The prophet Daniel did not open his mouth to pray to anyone other than the one, true living God, so he was not consumed by the lions’ mouths.

***** During the birth of the New Testament church, The Apostle Peter incurred the wrath of King Herod.

“So when he [Herod] had arrested him [Peter], he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.” (Acts 12:4)

Suddenly, God flipped the supernatural switch, and Peter was freed from prison. (Acts 12:5-16).

The script was flipped after the Apostle Peter arrived at the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying, and announced, “Go, tell these things [his miraculous release from prison] to James and to the brethren.” (Acts 12:17)

***** The devil and his cohorts thought they’d secured the biggest victory since the dawn of creation after Jesus was crucified and placed in the tomb.

Suddenly, God flipped the supernatural switch via a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. (Matthew 28:2)

An angel flipped the script on this vital, life-changing account.

“But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.’” (Matthew 28:5-7)

Departure From The Old To Enter The New.

When the switch is flipped, this signal makes way for the departure from the old to enter the new.

This will be something ultra-obvious that we will not have to spend an inordinate amount of time looking for or attempting to comprehend.

Also, this applies to the script. When it is flipped, the old text is done away with, and a new script is written which can in turn be read or announced. Instead of written text, it could be a whole new plan of action.

A Double Dose Of Logic.

Suffice it to say, if things in our lives were sailing along smoothly instead of us having to navigate the equivalent of a Class 5 White Water Rapids, the switch would not need flipping nor would the script.

The spiritual sense I had when I received this prophetic word was that it would be something very positive to eliminate the negative.

In addition, all of this will be accomplished supernaturally. It’s nothing man can contrive, conjure up, or manipulate.

An angelic army is on deck with their marching orders to facilitate what needs to be accomplished.

A Double Application Of Benefits.

These double flips can provide a double application of personal benefits for all of us in the realms of spiritual growth, health, provision, finance, learning and knowledge, formulation of strategies, and connectivity just to name a few.

Other spheres will be affected such as geographic regions, and states, along with spiritual and familial as well.

Prophetic Insights For Daily Living.

#1. As you ponder the sentences listed below, how do you feel led to prepare your heart, soul, mind, and spirit?

“Get ready for the double flip!”

“The switch will be flipped.”

“The script will be flipped.”

#2. In each of the four Biblical examples I listed regarding the flipping of the switch leading to the flipping of the script, people far and wide who were present at that time would have been keenly aware of what happened and its long-lasting effects.

Can you think of another instance mentioned in the Bible of the switch being flipped after which the script was flipped?

#3. Has there ever been a time in your life or that of someone you know when a challenging circumstance suddenly changed for the better to achieve victory?

If so, what was it, and how did this influence or instruct you?

#4. With the number twenty-nine symbolizing mountains, do you have any that need to be removed?

There are times when I deem it helpful to write them down or draw the outline of a mountain and label it.

Lay your hands on each one and pray as we follow our Lord Jesus’s example in Matthew 14:23, “And when He [Jesus] had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.”

Truth be known, even though Jesus is God in the flesh, He faced different types of mountains each day in the form of opposition from the rulers, scribes, Sadducees, Pharisees, and His fellow countrymen.  All manner of people continued to follow him needing healing, deliverance, provision, instruction, wisdom, and salvation.

Earlier in this blog post, I mentioned the number twenty-nine also speaks of departure. Here’s a confirming verse for departure and mountains.

“And when He [Jesus] had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.” (Mark 6:46)

God is a mountain mover! Remaining strong in Him and having our hearts filled with faith, may we draw comfort and courage from the angel’s message to Mary, Jesus’s mother, “For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

Are you ready for the double flip?

Until the next message,
