Repetitive phrases in the Spirit heighten my awareness and expectation. For the past few days, I have heard repeatedly, “Watch this next chapter!”
The difference between “the” and “this.”
Even the slightest word variance can make a big difference while studying and praying into a prophetic word.
“The is a determiner but is primarily a demonstrative adjective, but, unlike ‘this’ is not used as a pronoun. The was historically a form of ‘that’ (not ‘this’).”
“This– pronoun and determiner (demonstrative adjective) is ‘more specifically demonstrative’ and is used with the object/person.”

Why is this brief grammar lesson important?
Because the phrase, “Watch this next chapter” infers something new that will be experienced presently and is near in space or time. (Emphasis mine).
In other words, it’s not as generic or undefined as if the message would have come forth in the Spirit, “Watch the next chapter” or “Watch a next chapter.”
Chapter versus book.
As an author, I enjoy writing and reading the next chapter of a book which is the main division therein, typically with a number or title.
It’s the second definition of the word “chapter” that has more relevance to this recent prophetic word which is:
“A period of time or an episode in a person’s life, a nation’s history, etc.”
A Double application.
It could well be there’s a double application right around the corner of “watch this next chapter” that will pertain to your life and also that of our nation.
The Seven Mountains of Culture.
As I’ve continued to remain watchful and pressing in to hear furtherance of this prophetic word or anything else being quickened unto my spirit, the seven mountains of culture were impressed upon me.
Globally speaking, there are seven mountains of culture, society, and influence which include:
Religion
Family
Education
Government
Media
Arts & Entertainment
Business
On April 24, 2021, I authored a prophetic blog post titled “Knitting Together God’s Plans” which elaborated upon the seven mountains of culture. This was based upon a prophetic vision that I received on April 6, 2021.
During that time, I could literally hear the clicking of knitting needles in the Spirit which sounded like Morse Code.
As the vision continued, each of the seven mountains was represented by a different color of yarn.

The following is a quote from my April 6, 2021 writing, “God is knitting His plans together for each of these mountains irrespective of what it may look like in the natural. I heard in the Spirit, ‘Not everything is as it currently appears.’” Here’s the link for the seven mountains of culture blog post: https://sheilaeismann.com/call-to-action/
New Testament Greek Words.
Every now and then, and when trying to be humorous, someone might say, “It’s all Greek to me!” This usually happens when they are endeavoring to understand or learn something new. For those of you reading my blog post, and if you already know how to speak Greek, I heartily commend you!
One of the New Testament Greek words for watch is gregoreo, Strong’s G1127, and means to watch, give strict attention to, be cautious, active.
Scripture examples are:
“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)
“Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.” (1 Thessalonians 5:6)
Also, Matthew 26:40-41, Mark 13:34, 37, and Colossians 4:2.
The second one is Strong’s G3525, nepho, and means to be sober, calm, and collected in spirit.
Scripture examples are:
2 Timothy 4:5, “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
And 1 Peter 4:7.
Combining the instructions from the Greek words, we find an interesting and reinforcing composite:
Stand fast in the faith (in God).
Be brave.
Be strong.
Don’t go to sleep at the switch as the ol’ saying goes.
Be sober.
Be calm.
Be collected in spirit.
Prophetic Insights For Daily Living.
#1. As this recent prophetic word has marinated in my spirit, I’ve not sensed any fear or dread, but quite the contrary. There’s much anticipation on my part. It’s almost as if God is saying in a positive manner, “Watch what happens next!”
How is your spirit quickened after reading, studying, and praying into “Watch This Next Chapter?”
#2. With respect to the seven mountains of culture, would you be willing to continue to serve on the same existing one where you’ve been assigned even if you’re getting ready to retire?
If God suddenly moved you to a different mountain, would you be able to quickly adapt and plug in the above definitions for the Greek words for watch which are stand fast in the faith (in God), be brave, be strong, stay alert, be sober, be calm, and be collected in the spirit?
#3. Have you sensed that there’s about to be a new chapter written in your life? If so, this prophetic word will serve as a confirmation of that.
As it quite often pertains to personal prophecy, God can and sometimes will use a prophetic word to confirm what He is already showing you or instructing you to do. A prophetic word can serve as a positive reinforcement and guidance.
Confirmations can and do come from all sorts of trusted places, people, and messages. That’s part of the fun! With God, we never know exactly how He’s going to send those verifications.
#4. In what particular area of your life or that of our nation do you feel led to watch and pray?
Per my usual encouragement regarding recording in your prophetic journal, these entries would be very important, especially as it relates to a chronological timetable.
#5. Perhaps you might be given some spiritual insight or a revelatory download regarding something new for someone else. Would you be brave and strong in the Spirit to share it with him or her if you felt led by the Lord to do so?
In conclusion, would you please join me in prayer?
“Father, we thank You for every chapter that You’ve already written in our lives, but especially for this new one. We know that we can always trust You as You have our best interests at heart and love to give good gifts to those who ask You. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Thank You that we can always rely upon You, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit to help us stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong, stay alert, be sober, be calm, and be collected in the spirit.
We love You and proclaim Your goodness as we watch this next chapter!
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.”
