- Accumulator
- Similar to a parlay, a bet that combines multiple selections and the winnings from each selection roll over to the next.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a 100‑unit stake, negative shows how much you must stake to win 100.
- Arbitrage Betting
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that eliminates the draw outcome by giving a half‑ or quarter‑goal advantage to the underdog.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of setting aside a specific amount of money for betting and deciding how much to stake on each wager.
- Bookmaker Margin (Vig)
- The built‑in profit margin in the odds, calculated as the difference between the true probability and the odds offered.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cashout
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes the stake; multiplying your stake by this number gives total payout.
- Double Chance
- A market allowing you to cover two of the three possible outcomes in a single wager, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A market where you back either team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- Enhanced Odds
- Special odds that are higher than the regular market, often offered for a limited time to attract bettors.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction; the numerator indicates potential profit relative to the denominator, which is the stake.
- Free Bet
- A token offered by a bookmaker that can be used to place a bet without risking your own money, usually with certain restrictions.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on events while they are in progress, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match outright, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Format
- The way odds are displayed, such as decimal, fractional, or American, each conveying the same information differently.
- Over/Under
- A wager on whether the total number of goals/scores in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the parlay to pay out.
- Point Spread
- A handicap given to a team to level the playing field, requiring them to win by a certain margin or lose by less than the spread.
- Self‑Exclusion
- A voluntary option that allows you to block yourself from betting with a bookmaker for a set period to help control gambling.
- Single Bet
- A straightforward bet on one outcome, with the payout determined solely by that result.
- Unit
- A standardized amount of your bankroll used to measure the size of a bet, usually expressed as a percentage.
- Value Bet
